Certhon expands tomato greenhouse project Damar in France Share this post facebook twitter whatsapp linkedin Certhon is currently working on the expansion of a tomato greenhouse in France through the realization of Project Damar. As part of this project, we are constructing a Venlo greenhouse of approximately 0.8 hectares as an extension of the grower’s existing greenhouse facility. Although relatively compact in size, the project represents a valuable addition to the existing cultivation area. The existing greenhouses at the site were not built by Certhon. This project therefore provides an excellent opportunity for us to build upon an existing greenhouse structure and apply our expertise in sustainable horticultural solutions. We are designing and delivering this project together with our project partner Hortère. Hortère is responsible for the remaining installations on site, while Certhon is supplying the heating installation. Currently, Hortère is working on the installation of the underground CO₂ pipeline and the connection to the existing greenhouse section. Over the past period, we have completed the foundation works. Starting in week 33, the greenhouse structure will be erected. With Project Damar, we are once again contributing to the further development of modern and efficient greenhouse horticulture in Europe. We look forward to a successful collaboration with all parties involved and to the smooth completion of this project.
