Completion of the Louis Vinet project in Nantes Share this post facebook twitter whatsapp linkedin Certhon has successfully completed the modernization of the greenhouse facilities for Louis Vinet, with a strong focus on efficiency and quality. This project marks an important step in the renewal of the cultivation area of market gardener Louis Vinet, a leading player in the French agricultural sector. It highlights the joint efforts of Certhon and its partners to improve productivity and efficiency. Collaboration and system delivery Certhon, in collaboration with its local partner Hortère, provided the greenhouse structure and heating installation. The greenhouse is an extension of the existing complex and includes an inventive solution for cultivating cucumbers and tomatoes. The screen installation, supplied directly by Alweco, is a key component of the system and was implemented in close cooperation with Certhon. One of the standout features of this project is the three-dimensional trellis, designed to secure the crop wire to the first row of posts at a relatively low height. This allows cucumbers to be grown on a low wire while keeping the central pathway easily accessible to staff. This solution offers both practical advantages and a more efficient use of the greenhouse space. Customer satisfaction and future plans The pleasant collaboration with both the client, Mr. Vinet, and Hortère went smoothly thanks to clear communication and a high level of involvement throughout the process. Mr. Vinet is very satisfied with the final result and the professional communication from Hortère and Certhon: “I’m very happy with the end result and clear communication from Hortère and Certhon. If I could, I would build a new greenhouse tomorrow!” This first collaboration lays a strong foundation for a promising future. Curious about our other projects? Check out the project page
