Construction of phase 3 at project Petrodial begins

Construction of Phase 3 at Project Petrodial in Romania has officially started. This expansion consists of a 0.36-hectare Venlo greenhouse for tomato cultivation and will be built as an extension to the greenhouse completed during Phase 2.

With the foundation works completed and construction now underway, work continues on the further expansion of the site. Once Phase 3 is completed, the total greenhouse complex will cover approximately 2.4 hectares. Thanks to the preparations made during the previous project phases, various systems can be efficiently integrated into the existing facility.

The new greenhouse will be delivered on a turnkey basis and equipped with, among other features, double screening systems, insect netting, electrical installations, a climate computer, and heating systems. The water systems will also be connected to the existing infrastructure, including the previously constructed technical water facility with modern UV disinfection technology. In addition, the new greenhouse, heating, and irrigation systems will be integrated with the existing greenhouse phases.

The project is progressing according to schedule, and the new greenhouse is expected to be operational early next year. With each step, the realization of Phase 3 moves closer to completion.
