DENSO and Certhon plant symbolic seed during celebration of collaboration

As of 31 July, DENSO Corporation, the world’s second-largest supplier of advanced automotive technology, owns Certhon, a leader in the development of greenhouse projects. To celebrate this milestone, a seed symbolizing a fruitful future was planted under the watchful eye of all employees and a number of guests. It is a milestone for the family business and Certhon CEO Lotte van Rijn knows how to articulate it: “Certhon and DENSO share the same vision and mission: enabling global cultivation with innovative technologies and a dedicated team.”

Mr Hidehiro Yokoo, Senior Executive Officer of the Food Value Chain Business Development Division at DENSO is looking forward to jointly addressing global food and agriculture challenges: “Certhon is a unique partner with shared values and complementary technologies. The planting of a symbolic seed at the end of the speech marked a significant step towards growth and development. Lotte van Rijn stressed, “We cannot wait to realize beautiful projects together. That this promising milestone is seen by the Dutch ministry as an exciting journey of innovation and cooperation within the world of horticultural technology was evident from the speech by Mr Frederik Vossenaar, Special envoy of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. Mr. Vossenaar had nothing but praise for both companies and this promising strategic move.
