First construction phase completed in Croatia

The first construction phase of project Ruris in Croatia has been successfully completed. The project involves a 1.2-hectare expansion of an existing tomato greenhouse, further extending the current site.

Over the past period, foundation works have been the main focus. This included the construction of the perimeter foundation and the concrete footings on which the new greenhouse structure will be built. These activities provide the foundation for the next stages of construction. The new greenhouse will be equipped with heating systems, screening installations, recirculation fans, and electrical systems, while making use of the existing heating infrastructure on site.

Preparations for greenhouse construction
The coming period will focus on preparations for the construction of the greenhouse. In week 40, assembly of the steel structure and glazing will commence. This will be followed by the installation of the screen system and heating systems, making the expansion increasingly visible as the new greenhouse gradually takes shape.
