First plants in place at Kietaviškių block F Share this post facebook twitter whatsapp linkedin In Lithuania, Kietaviškių has reached an important milestone: the first cucumber plants have been placed in the new 5-hectare greenhouse (Block F). At this moment, the final adjustments are being made to the latest addition of this impressive greenhouse complex, the largest in the Baltic states. With the commissioning of this phase, Kietaviškių takes another step in the large-scale modernization of its cultivation facilities. Since 2015, we have been working on transforming the 20-hectare complex—originally consisting of mid-20th-century greenhouses—into state-of-the-art facilities that meet today’s standards. From the very beginning, Certhon has played a key role in the master plan and its execution. In addition to the greenhouse, heating, irrigation, and electrical systems, we also provided logistics solutions, propagation equipment, and machines for sorting and packaging. With the completion of Block F, phase 3 is now finalized. This week, our commissioning specialist is making the final adjustments to ensure the system operates at its best.
