SuprimAir as the solution

The development of the SuprimAir greenhouse system took years of work. As with all innovations at Certhon, a multidisciplinary team was put together for this development. Various expertises came together to create a greenhouse concept in which air vents, ventilation, heating, cooling and control are optimally integrated.

The introduction of our SuprimAir greenhouse concept gave the grower full control over the conditioning of the greenhouse climate. A complex interplay of technologies allows growers to create an ideal climate year-round, save energy and reduce disease pressure. The SuprimAir greenhouse system is especially designed for continental, (sub)tropical and desert climates, through an optimal cooperation of the three main components; the air hoses under the growing gutters, the end wall corridor and the heating blocks and fans.

Air hoses
Through the air hoses, cool or heated air is blown up from underneath the greenhouse, creating excess pressure in the greenhouse. By drawing in dry air and blowing it into the hoses, the greenhouse is dehumidified and, in the process, the overpressure makes it difficult for insects to enter the greenhouse.

Climate corridor
The end wall corridor is equipped with an innovative system and can therefore achieve an optimal mixing of outside air and greenhouse air, to control the humidity in the greenhouse very precisely.

Heating blocks and fans
Using hardware and software developed by us, the fans can be controlled in sections and modulated. This allows you to control the climate down to the square meter.
