The trade show season has started Share this post facebook twitter whatsapp linkedin Poeldijk – After a period of ‘silence’ due to COVID-19, Certhon is now fully represented again at worldwide congresses, presentations, and trade shows. Edwin Vanlaerhoven, Business Development Director at Certhon states: “Trade show participation is certainly not a goal, but it is so incredibly important means to meet both clients and potential clients.” In the last week of January, the first trade show announced itself: the Food For Future Summit, and since then it has been happening again almost every week. “The Indoor Ag-Con was a good trade show and we are also positive about the AgriteQ,” says Vanlaerhoven. Certhon operates worldwide, and the benefits of video calling came to light at Certhon as well. “Last period we tried to reach as many customers as possible by phone and video calling. That is doable and we may speak to customers overseas, like in Asia or the United States more often, but meeting face-to-face really has more value,” Vanlaerhoven said. It is clear that the trade show season is back in full swing. Last week Certhon had a stand at the Sival and in April the long-awaited Fruit Logistica is just around the corner.
